Greetings Inigral friends! It’s been a fast and furious month here on the west coast, but productive nonetheless. Hopefully your newest class of Freshmen are settled in at this point. We can’t wait to hear about the new things you’ve tried this year to make them feel at home! Here’s what we’ve been up to.

Inigral Visits Facebook HQ

Earlier this month, we were invited to speak at Facebook’s headquarters to help educate their platform team of what we’re up to for the upcoming school year. It was also our first time at their new offices, so the campus tour was a treat as well. After the presentation, there was Q&A, where Facebook’s Platform engineers and marketing team were able to get a better understanding of what we need to serve our clients better. The most informative part of the day was meeting with Mark Zuckerberg to give feedback on what Inigral needs from Facebook’s Platform to better serve our college and university customers. Much thanks to our friends at Facebook for getting this setup. You can check out more pictures from our visit here.

Inigral in Fast Company Magazine

In the September issue of Fast Company, we were listed as one of Fast Company’s “Top 5 Startups to Watch in Education” for 2009. They are recognizing Schools on Facebook™ as the smartest way for a college or university to leverage Facebook to meet their business needs. Check out the full write-up here.

Columbia College Chicago Launches Schools on Facebook

The admissions and marketing teams at Columbia College Chicago deserve a huge shout-out for a successful launch of Schools on Facebook! As described in their press release, they have been on Facebook for a while now with their Page. But now, their Facebook presence is “much more meaningful,” as it allows them to engage each of their audiences in appropriate and targeted ways while producing results the university can really get behind.

Well, back to my campus tour across the states. It’s been a really informative time learning from faculty, staff, and students on how to continue developing Schools on Facebook to better meet their needs. More to come next month!
